India Fest 2009 is a festival Event to be held on November 21, 2009 in Jacksonville at Metropolitan Park.

2009 is the first time that  the volunteers are organizing the event at  city’s Metro Park and in that magnitude.

The organizing body is staffed by dedicated volunteers and trustees of various Indian origin organizations and is supported by the contributions of money, time and effort of these members.

The festival will be a wonderful opportunity to add more knowledge about India and its national cuisine, people can buy Indian food products and other goods.

The visitors will have a taste of wide variety of Indian dainties, watch dance groups, buy diversity of spices, Ayurvedic products, Indian carpets, pottery, wood works, textiles, leather goods, Jewelry, arts and crafts and many more things.

This will provide platform for entrepreneurs and business persons to exchange and promote trade relations.
